JESSICA DORNBLASER | CO-OWNER

Jessica, a recipient of the 2012 Design Award from the Fort Lauderdale
chapter of The American Institute of Architects, holds over fifteen
years of experience in the fields of architecture and design.  She has
had great success at prestigious South Florida architectural firms
where, as a lead, she was responsible for many major projects.  Her
vast breadth of experience includes both commercial and residential
projects, however her love for craft beer has taken her down the path
of designing and building breweries. In 2017 her family opened a craft
brewery in Boynton Beach. That location was designed by Jessica and
built by her, her husband Tim, and friends. Nobo Brewing Company is
owned by Jessica, her husband Tim, her Brother in Law Steve and his
wife Joy.

In order to bring more women into the craft beer movement Jessica and
her friend Jen started a small group called "girl's only brew". This
group meets several times a year and brews craft beer on the NOBO
system. The group is open to all women but only a few are chosen each
time due to size constraints of the brewery. "We do this in an effort
to show our appreciation to the hard work required to craft beer. We
hope that by bringing women into the fold and to see what is required
they will have an appreciation for beer. We also feel it puts them at
a seat of the table in a very male dominated industry." Jessica went
on to say, "Growing up in the architecture and construction field I
know what its like being in a male dominated profession. Luckily my
family (my husband and his brother) not only see me as an equal but
really respect and often solicit my advice. I know I am partial to
NOBO but I feel like we are one of few breweries that truly appreciate
the female clientele. I mean allowed us to use their equipment, and
brewed right along side us!"

American Institute of Architects Board of Directors Treasurer, ICSC
International Council of Shopping Centers Member, and NCARB
Certification.
